Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2025 Outdoor Learning Conference a success!

The 2025 Outdoor Learning Conference took place in the Banff Centre in Alberta.

Over 500 participants from across North America attended the 2025 Outdoor Learning Conference, which was presented in partnership with Take Me Outside, the Global Environmental and Outdoor Education Council of Alberta (GEOEC), and the Outdoor Learning Store.

The overarching theme for the Conference was “Place and Pedagogy: Where Learning Happens”. The Conference focused on Indigenous Ways of Knowing, Health and Wellbeing and Environmental and Climate Change Education. We heard from experts in these fields through keynote presentations, panel discussions and hands-on, educational workshops.
